Synod Assembly St. John needs another person to attend the Synod Assembly on Saturday, May 17th. This would be on Zoom and not in person. Please let Melissa Puster know if you can fill this need.

Upcoming Events
- Mid-week Lent Services will be held on Wednesdays, starting March 12 and co-hosted by St. John & Zion Lutheran. Lenten devotions are available and added to the bottom of the bulletin.
- St. John will host the mid-week Lent services on March 12, 26, and April 9th. Zion and several neighboring churches (Lakefork, Fairview and Lakeville) will be invited to the services at St. John.
- Zion Lutheran, in Loudonville, will host the Lent services on March 19 and April 2nd and our St. John Church family is invited to these services.

“Road to Damascus” Musical: St. John WELCA is planning a trip to The Star Theater in Sugarcreek on Wednesday, June 4, at 1:00pm, to see the Road to Damascus. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex and the deadline to sign-up is March 31. It is a musical story about Saul’s transformation from a persecutor of Christians to a devoted follower of Christ. Live animals, amazing scenery, and beautiful music are included in the performance. This is open to all St. John family. The cost of each ticket is $64.50, which includes a buffet meal or $45 for the theater ticket only. Money can be paid to Kathy Baldner after church on Sunday, May 11 and May 18.

Vocal and Hand Bell Choir practice change: During Lent the practices for both Handbell and Vocal choirs will held be on Thursdays, instead of Wednesdays. Start times remain the same. Handbell begins at 6p.m. and vocal choir starts at 7:15p.m.
Lay Readers needed for April 13 and for Maundy Thursday (4/17). Please sign up in the Narthex.
St. John Bicentennial is in 2030: St. John will begin preparing for the upcoming St. John’s Bicentennial (200 yrs old) celebration in 2030. If you are interested in helping, let Joyce know you’d like to join the committee to prepare for this celebration.
Helping those in need:
- For the Homeless: Some specific cold weather needs are: long sleeved shirts, winter coats, socks, gloves, winter hats and blankets. A full list of additional suggested items is in the Narthex.
- Food Pantry needs: Remember those in need and deliver directly to a Pantry of your choice.
- Loudonville Food Pantry: Mustard, catsup, soup crackers, spaghetti noodles, jelly, toilet paper.
- Lakeville Food Pantry: Pancake syrup, Toilet paper, dish soap, Jiffy cornbread mix.
