The Noisy Offering will resume soon. Please start to collect your change at home for this fun offering which is collected by our children for the Building Fund.
The 12th Annual Operation AED Pie Event successfully raised $5,318!
Semi-Annual Meeting: Our congregational Semi-Annual meeting will take place July 18th after the church service in the sanctuary. Please submit reports in written form to John Puster on or before Tuesday, July 13th. Attaching reports to an email works well or place a hard copy in John’s mailbox at church. Thank you.
McZena 4th of July Parade: The 4th-of-July Parade will take place on Sunday, July 11th. More details to follow! If you have previously helped organize portions of this event, please contact John Puster or JoEllen Zilko.
Help is needed for Indoor Worship: Volunteers are necessary to help during the weekly indoor worship each week. A sign-up sheet will be placed on the bulletin board or please let Stacey Sigler know when you can volunteer.
Lay Readers: We need 1 person weekly to read an overview of the announcements and scripture readings during the Worship Service.
Ushers: 2 people are needed weekly to help with seating and dismissing parishioners.
Welcome Table: 2 people are needed weekly to pass out bulletins and communion elements and take attendance.
Acolytes: 1 acolyte is needed weekly.Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Narthex.
Helping those in need and the homeless:
The need to support this cause continues. The donation box is in the basement near the door and also a monetary donation box is there also. 6/15 Update from Wink: “Yesterday we took a load of Sundries to the Salvation Army Ashland. This brings the total Sundries kits to 185 and the hat, socks and gloves to over 200. Thanks for the over the top support St. John has been giving to the less fortunate in our community’s !!”
Food Pantry needs: Remember those in need and deliver directly to a Pantry of your choice.
Loudonville Food Pantry: Soup crackers, laundry detergent and canned fruit.
Lakeville Food Pantry: Shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste.
