Newsletter Team change: Many thanks to Stacey and Jared Sigler for publishing St. John’s Newsletter for many years. The response from the Survey for the Newsletter, several people responded they would work in a team to manage the newsletter. We need those interested people to meet briefly in the front of the sanctuary after worship next Sunday, Jan. 8 to select a meeting date.
Lakeville Friday Food Bag Collection: There is a program at Lakeville Elementary School which supplies food deficient homes with a bag of groceries on Fridays with food for the weekend. Currently there are about 7 families receiving food bags and it takes approximately $92 per week. Recently, the company who funded this program has withdrawn financial support and teachers from the school have stepped up to fund this. St. John Council learned about this amazing program and would like to fund this for January and February 2023. Two collections will be taken, one on January 8 and the second on January 29. Please pray over your decision to help with this need.
Thank you for Noisy Offering donations. $104 was collected last week.
