Help the Homeless: This year St. John will focus on collecting necessary items for the homeless, from Nov. 20-Dec. 4. Boxes will be available in the front of the Sanctuary for your donations. Example of items needed are: warm stocking hats, gloves, socks, small deodorant, bar soap, toothbrush, toothpaste (small), nutritious packaged treats/meats, foot powder, shaving razors, Jergens ultra healing lotion (small), 5oz shaving cream, shampoo, small tissues, feminine hygiene products. If you have questions, please contact Richard Winkleman, JoEllen Zilko or Barb Landis. Monetary donations are also welcome.

Pack your baskets with goodies for the St. John Thanksgiving Potluck dinner, immediately after church on November 20. Drinks will be provided. If you have historical pictures of our church, please bring them to share. A separate space will be available to lay them for others to enjoy.
Today, Nov. 20 following the Thanksgiving Potluck, please stay to help decorate the church and put up the Christmas Tree in preparation for the 1st Sunday in Advent.
Saturday, December 24 at 7p.m. Come early and bring your whole family.
Sunday, December 25 at 10:30. There will be no Sunday School on 12/25.
Helping those in need:
For the Homeless: Some specific fall/winter needs are: Warm stocking hats, gloves, socks, lap blankets. Additional needs are: Smaller sized tarps, bottled water, deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, nutritious packaged treats/meats and warm shirts. Donation boxes for donations are in the Sanctuary.
Food Pantry needs: Remember those in need and deliver directly to a Pantry of your choice.
Loudonville Food Pantry: Shampoo, dish soap, tuna
Lakeville Food Pantry: Shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste.
